Rural Credit Guarantee Fund participated in General Assembly of AECM 20-06-2011

On 8-11 June, 2011 in Tallinn, Estonia Rural Credit Guarantee Fund participated in Global Conference on Guarantee Schemes for SME Financing, General Assembly of European Association of Mutual Guarantee Societies (AECM) and annual seminar „ Microfinance and Guarantees: how guarantees can make a difference in access to finance for small and micro companies“.

The Global Conference on Guarantees, was attended by over 100 participants from 34 countries from Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. The objective of the conference was to share different approaches on public policy, financing schemes, challenges, and key success factors of credit guarantees schemes to promote SME Finance with a special focus on developing/emerging countries.

This was followed by a European Seminar on Guarantees for Microfinance on the 10th June on invitation by, and coorganised with, KredEx, its Estonian Member Organization. The Seminar brought, among others, together international Credit Guarantee Institutions and policymaker to exchange best practices and discussed on current EU-programmes, policies and trends.
