On 6-8 September, 2011 the representatives Mr.G.Bozinov and Mr.S.Kutleshovski from the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and water economy of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia according to European Commission Directorate-General Enlargement Study Visit on Credit policy in agriculture and rural areas programme had traineeship visit in Lithuanian Rural Credit Guarantee Fund.

During the 1st quarter of year 2011 the Fund has issued more than 100 credit guarantees 25-04-2011

During the 1st quarter of year 2011, the Rural Credit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) has issued 102 guarantees for 24,4 million LTL for 37,7 million LTL of credits granted to farmers, rural entrepreneurs and processing companies. The total amount of guarantees for these economic entities account for 883,1 million LTL and it allowed to borrow from the credit institutions almost 1,5 billion LTL.

The New State Guarantee Limit Has Been Approved for 2011 01-04-2011

By the order No.339 of 23 March 2011 the Government of the Republic of Lithuania has approved state guarantee limit for the Rural Credit Guarantee Fund. The state guarantee limit for 2011 is 560 million LTL.

In 2010, the number of guarantees increased twice 10-02-2011

In year 2010, the Rural Credit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) issued 415 guarantees for 92,5 million LTL for 150,7 million LTL of credits granted to farmers, rural entrepreneurs and processing companies. 46,2 million LTL worth of guarantees were issued for credits granted to the Lithuanian Agricultural and Food Product regulation Agency. Since the beginning of its activities, the Fund has already issued 2,1 billion LTL worth of guarantees to credit institutions for their credits amounting to 2,7 billion LTL.

The New State Guarantee Limit Has Been Approved for the Rural Credit Guarantee Fund for 2010 19-03-2010

By the order No. 240 of 10 March 2010 the Government of the Republic of Lithuania has approved 602 million Litas of state guarantee limit for the Rural Credit Guarantee Fund.  As compared to 2009, the state guarantee limit for the year 2010 is by 164 million Litas higher.
