Credit guarantees

Rural Credit Guarantee Fund issues guarantees to credit institutions for credits granted to:

• Farmers and agricultural entities;
• Small and medium businesses, located in rural areas (economic entities engaged into activities alternative to agriculture). Rural areas – village or small town with no more than 6 thousand inhabitants;
• Enterprises which purchase and (or) process and (or) sell agricultural produce;
• State enterprise Lithuanian Agricultural and Food Product Market Regulation Agency;
• Rural communities and local action groups, implementing investment projects under the measures of Lithuanian Development programme 2007-2013;
• Educational and study institutions and professional education institutions, having experimental, demonstrative, or educational farms, implementing investment projects under the measures of Lithuanian Rural Development 2007-2013 programme.
